The management of Dubai Mall has issued an official apology to all customers following the chaos during the Brand Birthday Week event, where thousands of fashion enthusiasts crowded and lined up to grab trending bags priced at only AED 119.

Dubai – Brand Birthday Week at Dubai Mall turned the bustling shopping center into a “battlefield” for thousands of fashionistas.

With a promotional price of only 119 AED, a series of hot bags made the crowd jostle and queue for hours to have a chance to own one. The tense, tiring and chaotic atmosphere left many exhausted, while the joy of shopping seemed to be overwhelmed by the pressure.

Crowds queuing at major brands

Thousands of shoppers flooded Dubai Mall, forming long queues in front of Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Dior boutiques to grab rare discounted luxury bags. The frenzy created a scene both chaotic and exhilarating, with exhausted yet determined fashion lovers treating each purchase as a true victory,

Some customers lost their cool.

The unexpected plot twist

Faced with the dangerous situation, the brand immediately stopped the live event and announced that it would switch to online sales. This helped customers avoid the crowds and still be able to shop at the same preferential rates.

Chaos at the opening sale

Thousands of people showed up early in the morning, lining up to buy the popular bags, which were discounted from their listed price of thousands of AED to just 199 AED.

But when the door opened, the scene of jostling and pushing caused many people to collapse and require medical assistance on the spot.
